Dear Year 5,

Welcome back to Snape Wood Primary School! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer holiday and are feeling refreshed, excited, and ready for the new school year.

I’m Miss Lomas, your Year 5 teacher, and I’m really looking forward to seeing you all again and getting started on our journey together this academic year. We’ve got lots of exciting things planned, from fascinating topics to creative projects, and I can’t wait to explore them with you!

A little bit about me: I love going for long walks in nature and getting lost in a good book. I’m always happy to hear about what you’ve been reading too—so feel free to share your favourites!

We’re lucky to have Miss Staples as our Teaching Assistant this year. She’s just as excited as I am to welcome you back and help you learn, grow, and have fun in Year 5.

I hope you’re looking forward to coming back to school and seeing your friends. We’re going to have a brilliant year together, full of learning, laughter, and new adventures.
